RUTLAND, Vt. -

One Vermont man pleaded not guilty to a slew of burglary charges.

29-year-old Bryan Parker was arraigned in court Monday for 6 burglary charges at sugar houses last year.

Police say thousands of dollars worth of maple sugar making equipment were taken.

The Rutland Herald reports Parker was arrested last month after hearing from a syrup making supply store in New Hampshire where he brought some of the stolen items in exchange for new parts.
