BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A Vermont man pleaded guilty to persuading a 12-year-old girl in Utah to him send nude pictures of herself with her cell phone.
A press release says in early 2011, 26-year-old Richard Fletcher found the girl on Facebook, obtained her cell phone number and began texting and calling her.
Police say Fletcher convinced the girl that he loved her and wanted to be her boyfriend. He then pressed her for the nude photographs.
Fletcher faces a sentence of at least 15 years and as much as 160 years for various production and child exploitation charges.
Fletcher is scheduled to be sentenced on April 22.
