Police Arrest Four in Burlington, Vt. For Trafficking Heroin

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington Police arrested four people last Friday for trafficking heroin in Burlington, Vt.

Police say 21-year-old Aaron Gray, 20-year-old Jonathan Stewart, and Kelly Shelton, 33, all of Philadelphia, were charged with the sale and trafficking of heroin. Joel Jordan, 21, formally of Pittsfield, Mass. and residing on Pitkin Street, is charged with trafficking heroin and is also charged with possession of cocaine.

During the arrest police say they seized 1,140 bags of heroin and 60 grams of cocaine that have a combined estimated street value of $34,000.

All four were taken into custody, lodged at prison for lack of $50,000.00 bail.

The four were arraigned on Monday.

Gray, Stewart and Shelton remain imprisoned.  Jordan was released on pre-trial conditions.
