HINESBURG, Vt. -
Police in Hinesburg, Vt. say they seized two rifles and some ammo from Champlain Valley Union High School.
The principal says the guns were used for hunting and doesn't believe the students intended to harm anyone.
However, school policy prohibits firearms on school grounds.
Several cars were searched as a precaution and the weapons and ammo were seized.
