BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Burlington Police arrested two people on various drug charges Wednesday.
Police say during an arrest warrant police seized approximately 3.0 grams of crack cocaine and two bundles of heroin from an apartment on South Winooski Avenue. Both are felony amounts.
31-year-old Daniel Riggs is being charged with the distribution of heroin and cocaine and possession of narcotics. Krystal Lamphere, 26, is being charged with felony narcotics possession.
Police say at the time of Riggs arrest he was in the custody of the Department of Corrections' Field Supervisory Unit for his violating his parole. He has 9 years left to serve a burglary conviction. Riggs will be arraigned Wednesday on these charges.
Lamphere was released on a citation and will be arraigned at a later date.
