SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
South Burlington Police arrested a man for stealing a computer from Pine Computers.
Police say 38-year-old Eric Johnson entered the store with a small child in a stroller to buy a computer with a canceled credit card.
While the sales clerk was distracted, Johnson took a $600 computer out of a display, hid it in the stroller and then took off.
Police tracked Johnson down at the University Inn on Dorset Street where he was arrested.
He's being charged with petit larceny.
