A Romanian man has been sentenced to serve almost a year in New Hampshire prison for his role in a scheme to steal payment card data from companies like Subway.
Cezar Butu pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud.
Three others have been charged in the case.
The Department of Justice says 150 Subway restaurant franchises in New Hampshire and other states as well as 50 other retailers were included in the scheme.
If they succeeded they would have received credit card information from more than 80,000 customers and stolen millions of dollars.
