NH Democrats Want to Change New State Voter ID Law

Posted: Updated:
CONCORD, N.H. -

New Hampshire Democrats are looking to change a new law requiring voters to show ID at the polls even before the new law goes into effect.

The new law says the state will only accept driver's licenses, state issued ID cards, passports or a military ID.

Those who don't have IDs can vote only after filling out affidavits.

Democrats, who gained control of the House in November, plan to file several bills targeting both voter identification and registration.
