MONTPELIER, Vt. -
Vermont lawmakers say they're going to break ground on a new state hospital next week even though they still aren't sure how they're going to pay for it.
The old state hospital was destroyed nearly a year-and-a-half ago when Tropical Storm Irene came through.
The new hospital will be built in Berlin, Vt. next to the Central Vermont Medical Center.
Lawmakers say they're close to learning how much federal assistance will come, but want to move forward on the project now.
