SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
The male accused of threatening workers with pepper spray and stealing $400 in jewelry from Sear's in the University Mall Tuesday afternoon was captured on surveillance footage.
Police say the male is described as being a stocky white male, approximately 5'9" tall with a goatee. The male then approached a silver sedan in the Sear's parking lot.
A press release says an occupant inside the vehicle stated to the male suspect, "You had better not have been stealing."
