SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
South Burlington Police responded to the Sears department store at the University Mall in South Burlington, Vt. Tuesday for a report of a man who tried to steal $400 worth of jewelry.
When store officials tried to catch the thief, he threatened them with pepper spray.
They were able to ID him through surveillance video. He was last seen getting in a silver sedan.
