SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Police and emergency crews responded to two motor vehicle accidents on I-89 north near exit 13 Tuesday morning.

According to Paul Badger of the Vermont State Police, a blue jeep rolled over at the exit's on-ramp. Police say speed was a factor in the crash.

Another driver, 26-year-old Jerome C. Allen Jr., of Winooksi, Vt., hit an Agency of Transportation (AOT) snow plow after the plow stopped to help with the rollover accident. Allen Jr. told police his girlfriend was the driver of the rolled over Jeep.

Police say Allen Jr. wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was brought to Fletcher Allen for evaluation.

Allen Jr. was driving a 2010 Nissan Altima and was totaled during the crash.

The driver of the AOT plow was identified as 50-year-old Paul Clancy. The plow didn't receive any damage from the incident.

Police have not released the name of the driver of the rolled over Jeep.
