VTrans says its crews are ready for the storm.
On Wednesday, crews got their trucks prepared and will head out when the snow starts.
They say there's already enough salt and brine on the road, so not as much needs to be applied before the storm hits.
VTrans says by 3 a.m. Thursday crews will be out in full force to get the roads ready for the morning commute.
"There will be snow on the roads. We will keep them plowed off with enough material to keep it melee so you can get some traction and as soon as the storm subsides, at the end of the storm we'll go through and bare the roads back," says Randy Reed, VTrans general manager.
VTrans also upgraded its online road conditions map. 511 will now report road conditions by county.
