BURLINGTON, Vt. -
People in cities across our region are being warned to move their car off the street or risk it being towed and a fine.
In Burlington, the winter parking ban starts at 10pm Wednesday across the city and midnight downtown.
The ban goes until 7am Thursday. Public works says cars left on the street will be towed and drivers will face a $100 ticket.
In Winooski, a parking ban runs from midnight until 6am Thursday. Police also say cars will be towed to allow plow crews to clear the snow.
