PLAINFIELD, Vt. -
Barre police say they have a man in custody that sold drugs in a school zone and attacked and robbed another man during the summer.
Keino Wood, 21, of Barre, Vt., pleaded not guilty Monday to assault and robbery with a weapon and aggravated assaulted.
In June court documents show Wood met up with a man who he had a sexual relationship with and attacked him with a gun and stole money from.
Police say it happened at the Plainfield cemetery.
It's an arrest authorities say wouldn't have happened without different departments working together.
"I mean anytime that law enforcement can wrap up a case that deals with an aggravated assault and robbery and somebody off the street that's selling drugs is a good thing," said Barre Police Chief Tim Bombardier.
Wood is due back in court next month.
He was held on $75,000 dollars bail.
If convicted, Wood faces 30 years behind bars.
