SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A man has been cited into court after police say he flashed a child at the University Mall in South Burlington.
Police say Frederick McGuire, 25, is facing one count of lewd and lascivious act with a child. He flashed a 10-year-old girl at the Kohl's Department Store on Sunday, police said.
McGuire turned himself in Sunday evening after a family member saw his picture on the news.
Police say he has prior convictions for prohibited sexual acts and violated his probation. He is also a person of interest in a similar case that happened in Essex earlier this year.
McGuire is due in Vermont Superior Court in Burlington on Thursday.
