BARRE, Vt. -
Fire officials have brought a fire at the Houle Brothers Granite Manufacturing Company on South Front Street in the city of Barre, Vt. under control.
Barre Fire Deputy Chief Joseph Aldsworth says the fire started around 4:30 a.m. and was discovered by a police officer.
No one was injured from the fire.
According to the Red Cross, 10 departments are fighting the fire and they are proving food and water to firefighters.
Aldsworth says the building is partially compromised in the back, but is still standing and isn't destroyed.
Firefighters were able to protect computers and files for the business owner.
The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
