SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Police arrested two women in an armed robbery Tuesday night.
South Burlington Police say 23-year-old Emily Kulik and 24-year-old Ashley Plowman accused of robbing the Jolley Mobil on Shelburne Road just before 11 p.m.
The woman told the clerk they were armed with a knife and took off with cash and multiple cartons of cigarettes.
The knife was never shown and police arrested them a short time later.
Police say they recovered the money, property and weapons.
Kulik and Plowman are both being charged with assault and robbery and will appear in court Wednesday.
