Planned Parenthood is opening a new health center in St. Johnsbury.
A press release says the health center will open on December 27 at 501 Portland Street.
"The community has been extremely welcoming," said Kate Plummer, Certified Nurse-Midwife and Advanced Practice Clinician at the St. Johnsbury and Newport health centers. "It's great to be able to offer expanded local health care in an open and accessible way for the St. Johnsbury area."
The press release says the center will offer annual exams, birth control, pregnancy testing, immunizations, testing & treatment for sexually transmitted infections, and more.
The health center will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
