Nearly 2 months later and New York State is finally getting some federal aid to help clean up from Superstorm Sandy.
Governor Andrew Cuomo delivered the first of the federal aid amounting to around $40 million.
The money will help remove debris on Long Island.
Congress is still trying to pass millions more in aid for devastated areas in New York and New Jersey.
