SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Fire crews responded to a deadly fire on Catkin Court in South Burlington, Vt. Thursday night.
Investigators say the fire was contained to the first floor living space.
They also found a 58-year-old woman dead in the townhouse.
They haven't said if she died as a direct result of the fire.
Fire officials are still working on a cause.
"It was completely full of smoke and the fire department vented it as quick as they could," Det. Ron Bliss, of the South Burlington Police Department, said. "There was a little fire, which they extinguished."
Police are not releasing woman's name until they get in touch with her family.
An autopsy, to determine the cause of death, is scheduled for Friday.
