ANCHORAGE, Alaska -
In a new, chilling video, confessed serial killer Israel Keyes describes so called "kill kits" that he stashed around the country.
Police say he used one in Essex, Vermont to murder Bill and Lorraine Currier.
Sitting across from authorities in Alaska, Keyes described a kit he had hidden near Anchorage.
"I had that place setup for awhile. I had bag stashed in the bushes there with all my stuff in it," says Keyes.
Keyes says his plan was to go back to the park and then wait for his victims.
"I was going to take them and use a cut off tool to lock the gate do, do my thing there in the parking lot. Then I had the Drano and the shovel stocked up there as a way to get rid of the body if I needed it," says Keyes.
Police say the Alaska "kill kit" was one of many he buried around the country, including in the Woodside Natural Area in Essex.
"An area like this would have been in his comfort zone, he was very comfortable out in the woods," says Detective George Murtie, Essex Police Department.
Police say that's where Keyes hid a handgun, silencer, and zip ties. The very things police say Keyes returned for years later and then used to kidnap and kill Bill and Lorraine Currier.
In Parishville, New York, police says they found another stash of Keyes. Police say that included the Currier's gun and the gun he used to kill them.
