The Central Vermont Humane Society can see anywhere between 50 to more than 100 animals at a time. But one thing they're always looking for more of is community support.
Director of Operations Ann Ward told us the holiday season is the best time for fundraising and they've come up with a couple ways that you can help out. There will be a raffle throughout December, holiday donation cards and even a day to come in and play with the animals. All the proceeds go to help a shelter always looking for more resources.

"What we need support for is our local animals who we need to be able to afford to do their spay neuter to give them the medical care they need um that's a huge need for us this time of year is funding for our general operations," Ward said.
