BURLINGTON, Vt. -
On Sunday thousands of dollars were raised to help Camp Takumta and it included some jolly help.
A sea of 2,000 Santa's were running in Burlington, Vt.
Participants helped raise more than $12,000 for the camp.
"Its one of the greatest things you can see, especially when they turn that corner heading up Battery Street and you see just a sea of red. Its incredible and to know that they're all out here doing it to support camp Takumta is even better," Hattie Johnson, Camp Director of Development, said.
Organizers say so many people wanted to run that next year they're going to make the event even larger.
