PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -
The holiday spirit rolled through the North Country.
That's because the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train visited several towns and cities there Friday.
In Plattsburgh, hundreds of people came out to see the holiday train stop in town. The train arrived with hundreds of thousands of lights covering 14 cars. And then there was a show.
This stop was also about supporting the community with a food drive for a Plattsburgh food pantry.
"It's one of the bigger one that we do this time of year. It's clearly one of the best," says Bruce Garcia, JCEO CEO. "It really helps us this time of year. We've have such a high demand."
The train will visit some 150 communities across Canada and the U.S., including three in the North Country Friday.
