ARLINGTON, Vt. -
The cost to search for a missing boy in Sunderland last weekend could be around $12,000.
6-year-old Joseph "Jo Jo" McCray of Arlington, Vt. went missing during a family hunting trip.
But, looking for him wasn't cheap.
The Public Safety Commissioner says 18 troopers and other personnel were involved.
The price tag doesn't include 120 volunteers being activated and the more than 100 who were ont standby.
A helicopter was also used for more than 14 hours.
Fish and Wildlife was also involved in the search.
