BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Prosecutors say a supply sergeant with the Vermont National Guard has been sentenced for misusing a government credit card.
Officials say Edward Bouchard, of Enosburg, Vt., was using the card for personal purchases including equipment commonly used to grow marijuana.
He was sentenced Monday to time served, 3 years of supervised release and ordered to pay back more than $11,000.
The state's attorney general says Bouchard eventually admitted that he used the card for personal gain.
