A pair of Hartford officers rescued an injured doe Wednesday that was trapped on an icy pond.
Officer Chris Aher slid across the ice on Dewey's Pond, while Officer Jason Pedro held one end of a throw bag rope.
The officers were able to successfully bring the doe back to shore.
