Six People Charged With Setting Two Warming Huts on Fire in Belvidere, VT

BELVIDERE, Vt. -

Vermont State Police arrested 6 people for setting two warming huts on fire in Belvidere, Vt.

On October 27, crews were called to the first fire.

The hut was burned to the ground by the time they got there.

They didn't find the second one until later, but say it happened around the same time.

There were no injuries.

24-year-old Joshua Boomhower and 42-year-old Eric Ingalls are both charged with 2nd degree arson. The others, 39-year-old Linda Ingalls, 29-year-old Conrad Slayton, 29-year-old Elana Manning and 36-year-old Christopher Slayton are charged with accessory to secondary degree arson.

They're due in court in January.
