BURLINGTON, Vt. -
The Chittenden County Transportation Authority is getting an upgrade.
The new larger buses will be phased into service on routes from Burlington to Montpelier, Vt. and Middlebury to St. Albans, Vt. starting Monday.
These new buses will have 57 seats and the capacity for 4 bikes.
CCTA received funding for the larger buses 2 years ago.
They saw a need because of the amount of people using the routes has gone up in recent years.
