Marshals Arrest Florida Fugitive in Hardwick, VT

HARDWICK, Vt. -

Police in Charlotte County Florida have made an arrest in a 2001 homicide in Hardwick, Vt. Wednesday.

According to a press release, the U.S. Marshal Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 43-year-old Phillip Gavin Barr in connection with the homicide of 19-year-old Tara Sadarovich.

Barr was located at house on Pine Drive in Hardwick. When he saw the Marshals approaching the home he was in, he ran out the back door. Police say he surrendered without incident.

Barr is being held and was booked for the warrant for 1st degree murder in Charlotte County Florida.

The press release also states that David Ray McMannis, 39, of Cumberland, Md. was arrested for 1st degree murder in the death of Tara Sirdarovich on October 26 in Hardwick, Vt. McMannis was transported on November 4 and is being lodged at the Charlotte County Jail in Florida.

Police say Linda Fay Dille was also arrested and was charged with 2 felony counts of perjury in the investigation.
