BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A man accused of exposing and then pleasuring himself in front of four University of Vermont students pleaded not guilty in a Burlington courtroom today.
Police say this happened around one, Saturday morning.
Police say the four women positively identified 39-year old Jason Pugliese.
Police say Pugliese complimented the women and asked if they wanted to see his genitals.
The girls walked away, he was later arrested.
Pugliese confessed to having drinks in Downtown Burlington prior to the alleged incident.
We caught up with him outside of the courtroom.
"I do a lot of good service in my community and I've done a lot of good things in the world and I'm under strict legal consult to not make a statement regarding the facts that happened a few nights ago," Pugliese said.
If convicted, Pugliese could spend up to five years in prison, but prosecutors could seek more time because Pugliese has two similar convictions from the 90's.
