Hundreds of people are in a Minneville cemetary to say goodbye to 29-year-old Staff Sergeant Dain Venne.
Venne was killed last week by a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan.
The funeral took place at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Port Henry.
He was killed with fellow combat engineers, 27-year-old Brett Gornewicz of Alden, N.Y. and 22-year-old Ryan Jayne, of Campbell, N.Y.
