SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Now that he's won re-election, Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin is ready to work on several projects.
He addressed the media Wednesday from Dynapower Corporation in South Burlington.
That site was chosen because he wants to focus on renewable energy.
Mr. Shumlin wants to create more jobs, improve education and health care and he made this promise to Vermonters.
"I will recommit myself to working every single day ensure that we're growing jobs, that we're raising incomes and that we're making tough choices and getting the tough things done," said Shumlin.
Shumlin says he has no plans to run for any other office in the future.
In the past he has said he would like to serve as governor for four or six more years.
