3 Mass. Men Arrested in VT, Accused of Theft

ROCKINGHAM, Vt. -

Police say three Massachusetts men have been arrested in Vermont, accused of stealing more than $5,000 of clothing from the Vermont Country store in Rockingham.
 
Police say 44-year-old Stephen O'Brien and 48-year-old David Attardo, both of Quincy, Mass., and 40-year-old Robert Viens Jr. of Braintree, Mass., are accused of taking the items from the Route 103 store Sunday afternoon and then fleeing toward Chester Village, where police caught up with them.

All are facing felony charges of retail theft and possession of stolen property.
