Police Looking for Rite Aid Armed Robbery Suspect in Royalton, VT

ROYALTON, Vt. -

Police are looking for an armed robber who demanded prescription medication from a Rite Aid in Royalton, Vt. Tuesday afternoon.

According to a press release, the pharmacist complied with the robber's demands. After receiving the medication, he was seen walking into the woods behind the pharmacy.

The robber is described as being a white male, in his mid 20's, approximately 5'9" tall with a slender build and short brownish colored hair. He was later described as wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark plaid coat, jeans and brown boots.

Police say a man, fitting the description of the robber, was seen exiting a dark colored sedan at a nearby convenience store then walking on Route 107 prior to the robbery.
