HINESBURG, Vt. -
Outside 1896 Texas Hill road in Hinesburg Wednesday morning.
Police tape and two state troopers blocked the driveway.
It's the scene where police say Jacob Berino, 19 of Hinesburg, was burned during an explosion from a possible meth lab Tuesday afternoon.
While it was quiet there, the Williston state police barracks was buzzing with activity.
At least 20 hazmat crew members met and loaded up two trucks to prepare to head to the Hinesburg home.
After about an hour they left for the scene.
Once there firefighters blocked the road, which forced many people to turn around.
The US attorney's office says they can't say why so many emergency responders were brought in, but that Berino will be in court as soon as he's out of the hospital.
Neighbors we spoke with say that after the explosion they saw paramedics treating Berino.
They told us his face looked burned.
He is still at Fletcher Allen Wednesday night.
Officials there tell us he is in fair condition.
