ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt. -

Essex Police say 20-year-old Logan Lafferty damaged several cars at Handy's Suites located on Susie Wilson Road early Tuesday morning.

Lafferty, of Essex, Vt., left the scene and was later found by police on Wilson Road and Pearl Street.

Lafferty was transported to Fletcher Allen and was processed for DWI.

Police say 10 vehicles were damaged, including Lafferty's vehicle. Damage estimates could exceed $60,000.

Police are still investigating the incident.

Lafferty was released on a citation for gross negligent operation. Police say other charges are pending.
