One southern Vermont school district is taking big steps to stop bullying.
The Pownal School Board included $10,000 in its budget to buy cameras to put on the inside and outside of buses.
They will not only help prevent bullying, but will pin-point vehicles that fail to stop for buses.
The Bennington Banner reports in past years, the school district has dealt with significant bullying and harassment problems on its buses.
The problems prompted the board to pay adults to ride the buses with the children about six years ago.
