The Vermont Department of Corrections says an untreated, high risk sex offender was released Tuesday.
56-year-old Calbraith Macleod might have moved to Chittenden or Rutland county.
Macleod has multiple convictions for sexual assault and refused treatment while in jail.
The Vermont Department of Corrections says if he were to re-offend, his likely victims would be adult females.
Macleod served his maximum sentence so he will not be under Department of Corrections supervision.
He is required to register with the Department of Public Safety and the Internet Sex Offender Registry.
