BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A scary moment for a Burlington teenager who police say discovered a burglar in her bedroom.
Police say it happened around noon Wednesday in the South End. They say the 19-year-old found the man in her room.
He was able to get away. But not before the teen got a good look at him.
"The victim in this case, she really did have an up close and personal with the suspect. So she was really able to provide us a detailed description," says Lt. Scott Davidson, Burlington Police Department.
Here is that description:
Police say the white man is husky, six-feet tall, about 200 pounds. They say he had rotten, crooked teeth, including one black one.
Anyone with information is asked to call Burlington police.
