WILLISTON, Vt. -
Police say a man tried to flee from police on a tractor.
According to police, they tried to serve a warrant on Steve Laclair Tuesday.
When police went to the 44-year-old's home, they saw him riding a lawn tractor.
Police say Laclair didn't make it easy for them to serve the warrant.
"The detective went up to him, identified himself, showed him his badge, ordered him off the tractor," Sgt. Scott Graham, of the Williston Police Department, said. "He didn't comply with that so he was physically taken off the tractor by the detective."
Laclair now faces an additional charge of resisting arrest.
