BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -

A New Hampshire man has pleaded guilty to grand larceny stemming from a holdup at a Vermont bank.

Police had identified 30-year-old Gerald Clough of Swanzey, N.H., in the Feb. 28 robbery of the People's United Bank in Bellows Falls. He and another man did not display a weapon.

Clough was jailed in New Hampshire at the time on an unrelated charge when he was arrested. The other man accused, Chad Dustin of Keene, N.H., was arrested a few weeks later in Pepperell, Mass.

The Eagle-Times reports Clough, who was previously convicted of three felonies, also pleaded guilty to filing a false report related to the incident. He entered a no contest plea relating to the Feb. 26 robbery of a Gulf station in Brattleboro.

Dustin is facing trial.
