As Election Day closes in, local candidates are stockpiling cash.
Governor Peter Shumlin has raised nearly $1.2 million dollars.
Challenger Randy Brock has just over $100,000.
U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders has raised nearly $7 million in his bid for a second 6-year term.
Republican Challenger John MacGovern's totals aren't available yet, but he had raised less than $30,000 as of early August.
