BENSON, Vt. -
(AP) - Vermont state police say one of the role players involved in the annual Haunted Hayride in Benson has been hospitalized after being run over by the wagon.
Police say the individual was struck and run over late Saturday night. Police have not identified the victim, who was taken to Albany Medical Center in New York.
Police, firefighters and rescue crews from several surrounding towns responded to the incident. Witnesses are asked to call the Rutland Barracks of the Vermont State Police.
