CDC: Teen Drinking and Driving Rate Dropped 54% Over the Last Decade

ATLANTA -

The number of teenagers who drink and drive is dropping.

A national survey asked high schoolers if they had driven after drinking alcohol 1 or more times in the past 30 days.

The CDC reports the number who answered "yes" dropped 54% over the last decade.

Teens 18 years and up were the most likely to drink and drive, while 16-year-old girls were the least likely.
