SHELDON, Vt. -
A Vermont school was put on lock down Tuesday.
Police say it all started around 11 a.m. in Sheldon, Vt. as a domestic assault case.
A woman called 911 saying a man, Brian Button, hit her in the head with a door and prevented her from calling for help.
She was able to get away.
That's when she called police and told them she was headed to the Sheldon Elementary school.
Button followed her to the school. Button had a knife in his possession.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police say he was drunk and was arrested without incident.
