SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Three people at a Vermont hotel room have been arrested on charges ranging from theft to drug possession.
The three were arrested early Monday in South Burlington following an investigation by local police and in Williston.
They say 21-year-old Taralin Hopper of Williston was arrested on charges of grand larceny and retail theft. Hopper also was arrested on an outstanding federal arrest warrant.
Police said they also arrested 20-year-old Amanda Bevins of Shelburne on a charge of distribution of a non-controlled drug. A third person in the hotel room, 22-year-old Hassan Ali of Burlington, was arrested on two counts of marijuana possession.
