Police believe they found the body of a missing homeless man in St. Albans.
Police say Frederick Bemis, 59, of St. Albans, was last seen earlier this month near Price Chopper.
On Thursday afternoon, police and fire were searching a wooded area near the grocery store and found a body believed to be Bemis.
An autopsy is being conducted to positively identify the person, police said.
The investigation is ongoing. No word on a cause of death.
