SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
The South Burlington Fire Department has put out a dryer fire in the laundry room at the Anchorage Hotel.
Craig Rounds, Captain of the South Burlington Fire Department, says heavy smoke spread through the building very quickly, so the build was evacuated.
Damage was contained to the dryer and there was mild smoke damage in the laundry room.
Rounds says firefighters are ventilating the building so guests can return to the building.
